Juicy Ontario peaches caramelize beautifully when grilled, enhancing their natural sweetness. Paired with the deep richness of 75% Darkness chocolate and the crunch of locally grown toasted pumpkin seeds, this dessert is a simple yet elegant way to celebrate summer’s bounty.
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe Ontario peaches, halved and pitted
- 1 tbsp olive oil or coconut oil
- 75g (1 bar) 75% Darkness chocolate, melted
- 2 tbsp Ontario pumpkin seeds, toasted
- 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
- Vanilla ice cream (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat grill to medium heat. Brush peach halves lightly with oil.
- Place peaches cut side down on the grill and cook for 3-5 minutes until grill marks appear. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Drizzle with melted chocolate and sprinkle with toasted pumpkin seeds.
- Serve warm with a drizzle of maple syrup or vanilla ice cream, if desired. Enjoy!
