Grilled Peaches with Dark Chocolate Drizzle & Toasted Pumpkin Seeds (Nut-Free & Vegan)

Juicy Ontario peaches caramelize beautifully when grilled, enhancing their natural sweetness. Paired with the deep richness of 75% Darkness chocolate and the crunch of locally grown toasted pumpkin seeds, this dessert is a simple yet elegant way to celebrate summer’s bounty.

Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe Ontario peaches, halved and pitted
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or coconut oil
  • 75g (1 bar) 75% Darkness chocolate, melted
  • 2 tbsp Ontario pumpkin seeds, toasted
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat grill to medium heat. Brush peach halves lightly with oil.
  2. Place peaches cut side down on the grill and cook for 3-5 minutes until grill marks appear. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. Drizzle with melted chocolate and sprinkle with toasted pumpkin seeds.
  4. Serve warm with a drizzle of maple syrup or vanilla ice cream, if desired. Enjoy!
