Brigadeiros are delicious treats for everything - from rainy days, movie nights, or just when we are craving something sweet to nibble on! Originating from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, these chocolate desserts are now found in bakeshops and homes across Brazil and beyond.
Bonus? They're easy to make at home! All you need is a stove and 3 simple ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons of butter (or vegan butter)
- 1 can of condensed milk (or coconut condensed milk)
- 1 bar of Forest Garden Vanilla, Darkness or Vanilla Sea Salt*
Instructions:
- Heat pan in medium-low temperature and melt your butter cubes
- Melt and mix your ChocoSol chocolate bar with the butter
- Add the can of condensed milk, mixing in between
- Blend all your ingredients until you acquire a thick texture
- Turn off the stove once chocolate mixture is boiling and you can see the bottom of your pan
- Place the brigadeiro on a flat plate and let it cool down for a few of minutes
- Grease your clean hands with butter and scoop small amounts of the brigadeiro
- Shape the brigadeiros in between your hands into little balls, and roll them on any topping of your preference
- Place the truffles in the fridge for 10-15 minutes before serving!
