We work directly with smallholder farmers who prioritize ecological integrity in their farming practices. By focusing on agroforestry, these farmers are able to grow cacao without relying on harmful monoculture techniques that deplete the soil. In addition, we’ve developed bicycle-powered machines to process cacao. These tools are not only eco-friendly, but they also represent a beautiful fusion of traditional craft with innovative, energy-efficient technology. Over the years, these machines have evolved to be even more practical and efficient, allowing us to create high-quality, stone-ground chocolate in an environmentally conscious manner.
Packaging That Respects the Planet

That’s why we use 100% recyclable and compostable materials whenever possible. Our goal is to reduce waste while still delivering the same high-quality products our customers know and love.
In fact, our commitment to sustainability extends beyond packaging. We also strive to minimize waste in every part of our operations, whether it's by repurposing cacao shells in our products or reducing unnecessary packaging for shipping.
Supporting Women, Farmers, and Communities

It’s women in the communities we work with who teach us the deep, ancestral wisdom behind the art of chocolate making. In Mexico, Michael Sacco, ChocoSol’s founder, learned from Indigenous women how to properly roast cacao and craft chocolate in a way that is ecologically and culturally sustainable. This tradition of passing down knowledge and skills ensures that the story of cacao continues to be rooted in respect for both the earth and the people who care for it.
