A message from our founder: Announcing ChocoSol’s Ecological Packaging Launch – Plastic-Free Ecological Packaging
As you know, ChocoSol is committed to serving the most ecological, delicious, and nutritious chocolate foods possible. It all starts by sourcing cacao, vanilla, and coffee from the forest gardens and processing it in our eco-factory in Toronto, Ontario, and ends with the packaging we use to wrap each bar of your favourite chocolates.
Today we are excited to announce the upcoming launch of our new 100% re-pulpable coated paper packaging. It's the closest we could come to packing a chocolate bar like the ancient Mesoamericans packaged their tamale–in fully compostable, natural wrapping!
This new iteration of the classic ChocoSol packaging also uses less material overall, creating a leaner, slimmer package for each bar chocolate. Rest assured, each bar inside remains the same 75g bar you know and love – we’ve just cut the excess packaging to reduce overall waste.
This new packaging:
- Is 100% re-pulpable paper
- Is free from single use plastics
- Can be composted or recycled
- Uses 40% less packaging material
- 100% Canadian-made!
This reiteration of our packaging will allow us to scale our chocolate production, enhance our food safety practices, and ensure that we can continue to be your first choice for Canadian-made craft chocolate.
