An Exciting New Eco Update!

Meet Our New Eco Packaging

Since day one, our commitment to sustainability is something we put into practice at every stage of our process, from the forest gardens where our cacao is grown, to the ways we wrap and share our chocolate with the world.

That’s why we’re proud and excited to announce a packaging transition: we’re moving away from recyclable plastic bags for all of our bulk chocolate orders and shifting to a new, more sustainable option—bleach-free, plastic-free, fully biodegradable, and very ChocoSol!

We’re introducing two new packaging options: the eco wrap and the eco bag—both made from FSC-certified paper and printed using water-based inks. These new formats reflect the same care and craft we put into our chocolate.

  • Made from FSC-certified paper (sourced from responsibly managed forests)
  • Biodegradable, bleach-free, and recyclable
  • Printed using water-based ink
  • Lightweight, durable, and proudly designed in Toronto, Canada
  • Beautifully illustrated with ChocoSol’s signature iconography

This packaging isn’t just eco-friendly—it also feels good in your hands. And it tells a story: one of stewardship, regeneration, and craft.

Where You'll See the Change

The eco wrap and box is now being used for our 750g bulk bar and drinking chocolate offerings as a lightweight, plastic-free alternative. Sealed with a ChocoSol sticker by our staff, these eco-boxes are a great low-waste way to order bulk chocolate to your doorstep!

Eco bags will be available for in-person bulk chocolate, snacks, and cookies purchases! (P.S. We love our new packaging, but encourage you to continue to bring your own reusable bag or container to your next store or market visit to enjoy your chocolate!)

Small Choices, Big Change

This transition is about more than packaging. It’s about aligning every layer of our work—from the forest garden to your doorstep—with our values: sustainability, craftsmanship, and responsibility to the planet and each other.

We’re so grateful to our customers and partners for joining us in this transition, and for helping us shape a chocolate culture that’s delicious, ethical, and regenerative.

Thank you for choosing chocolate that is good for mind, body, and soil!
