The Uma Nota event series has been the go-to party for Tropical Urban Culture in Toronto since 2007. We have consistently brought to the stage, a killer pairing of live percussive and groove-based bands with equally skilled and knowledgable DJs — the result is something truly unique and has made us one of the most talked about parties around town!

So leave the pretensions at the door and join us as we present this next Afro-Brazilian & Roots Reggae edition of Uma Nota this Friday, April 27th at the fabulous and very dancefloor friendly Great Hall (1087 Queen St. W).

Line up:
Friendlyness and the Human Rights
(Roots Reggae / Rocksteady)
Mar Aberto SoundSystem
(Live Rootsy Afro-Brazilian Percussion & Song)
General Eclectic
(Brazilian, Reggae, Dub, Funk)
Rollin' Cash
(Bass Culture, Dubstep, Hip Hop, Reggae)
Chuck Boom
(Vintage Rocksteady, Reggae, Ska)

Doors @ 10:00PM / Going til late!!
